Pros Computer looks cool

Cons Does not perform well, over-priced

Summary I finally decided to make to switch to Mac after a long time of using a PC and I was very excited about it. The computer I got froze constantly and consistently right out of the box. The first few days I spent countless hours on the phone with Applecare. Eventually we determined that it was a hardware issue and needed to be replaced. I figured it was a fluke and awaited my new one. When it finally came. (It took 2 weeks which is ridiculous.) It seemed to work better but the cursor did not respond to the mouse. They thought it was a defective mouse so they sent me a new one. The problem did not go away. Again countless hours of phone time later they came to the conclusion that the computer had a hardware issue and needed to be replaced.
I told them if I was going to get a new one I wanted to be compensated for my trouble and be upgraded to the next model. They refused my request so I returned the machine and received a full refund.
I am very turned off by Mac now. I got 2 defective machines in a row, and they were unwilling to compensate me for my 1 month of trouble. Consumers beware.
