Apple iMac (24-inch, 2.8GHz)

Pros: Beautiful design, great resolution and sound. Great marketing campaign.

Cons: When you buy an apple product outside the States, the service apple provides equas to zero. There is nobody to talk to, to complain to. It is really frustrating to find yourself in that position.

Summary: I moved to Panama, central America and being a huge fan of apple products I decided to get a new imac for my wife's christmas present. She opened the box, installed her itunes back up cds and voila the computer freezed several times. Next day the computer was in the repair center authorized by apple and 2 months later I got back my "brand new" repaired computer. The store did not do anything, the service center contacted me twice a week to let me know about the computer and apple Latinamerica kept sending the same parts over and over again for two months. Before you buy an apple product outside the States make sure they will respond quickly to your needs. Good luck!
