"It goes haywire by itself from hour to hour, day to day"
Pros: It starts every time, for all the good it does. My 24" iMac is loaded with hardware and software bugs Apple "genius bars(?) and their specialty repair store couldn't, then Apple reneged on. They're begging for another class action suit. Apple Hell.
Cons: Just about everything now. Technical Support, Genius Bars, Customer Relations and the bugs in my hardware AND software, none of which Apple is willing to make right. Their Customer Relations is pathetic and dares me to take action and I will.
Summary: They say Leopard will fix my many ills and send me a free copy but neglect to say their clean install will wipe out all your data and apps unless a clean install is done. This machine has a mind(?) of its own, maybe a loose wire (like rotten to the core Apple Computer) and software issues with lost programs and screwed up Parallels thanks to their irresponsible "tech support" who is responsible for nothing they do. Everything they do is irresponsible. I've written them 2 letters they don't even know how to read or respond to the facts presented. Stonewalled. I relied on this "great new computer" but retreated to my older PC with 512 GB memory vs the 2 Gigs on the iMac. It was much faster but a fraction of the reliability and I'll take Windows anytime over this mess. Apple even gave me a 32 Gig iTouch as a consolation prize; big deal. Trade me a $400 iPod for a worthless $2,000 machine. They cut the finally sympathetic Customer Relations guy out of the picture when he sent me the iPod, and gave me "Angie" who wouldn't give an inch and ignored the facts. I only wish I had the room for my 2 letters to Apple here. Maybe I can try edit them tomorrow.so they'll fit. Then YOU decide.
