    Pros Easy to setup. Even easier to use.

    Cons Blinking light comes on when the computer sleeps and you can't turn it off.

    Summary I decided to get a refurbished 17-inch iMac from Apple for $200 less than the original price. I used the extra $200 on RAM from crucial dot com. This puppy breezes thru everyday operations. I'm a PC guy, but I spend way more time on the imac. It's great for multimedia - editing, pro tools, etc. I find it funny when people complain about system failure. It's a machine. Sometimes stuff breaks. PC's are no different. Just make sure you have a bangin' warranty and you won't have to cry over spilled milk. The best part: I don't have to babysit my Apple. No reformatting. No 800 billion viruses. No defragging. And it's fun to play with.

    Pros Looks Great. This computer is so easy to set up and use. OSX is genius. It just works and does things how they should be. Relaxing to use. Design is great and quite practical except from the below. Seems to be a professional computer that is very realiabl

    Cons If you want value for money buy a P.C. Takes a little while to get used to OSX from using Windows but eventually makes more sence. The plastic seems to be craking from heat on my Imac. This is only viewable in certain light but brings questions about the

    Pros What can you say - it's a Mac. It doesn't crash, no viruses or spyware, made with the user in mind. The footprint is nonexistant and the widescreen is great even at 17". I will never go back to MicroSoft.

    Cons When the G5 is working hard, the fan gets a little loud trying to cool the beast. I was used to my old fanless iMac DV but this isn't too much louder than my 5 year old PC laptop fan. Very quiet when just surfing the web and stuff. Opt for some extra RAM

    Pros High quality screen, Great OS, Lots of included software, G5 Performance, Compact Package.

    Cons Personally, I think 512 MB of ram standard would be great. And I also want to see this machine with a 128 MB Graphics Card.

    Pros G5, Software, the colour, footprint, OS X and bundeled software, Bluetooth Mouse and Keyboard. I have an AMD Optron 64 Bit with Photoshop and Photoshop loaded on the iMAC, I find the mac equally comparable to the AMD.

    Cons Price and avaiablity of DVD Software.
