"Excellent Mac" on
Pros: All in one unit. No wires showing around the desktop. Very easy to use and excuisite design. Wonderful buy. This machine converted me from a PC user to a Mac
Cons: Internal speakers could be better. I had to buy additional spearkers to get quality sound

"How much better can it get?" on
Pros: I seriously can't understand why anybody would put themselve through the torture of using PC's when they can have a great time using a Mac. I've been building PC's and networks for over a decade, and finally made the switch after my super-custom-pimp PC
Cons: There is some very quiet fan noise whining, but it's at least half as quiet as the quietest PC out there. You definately got to up the RAM, and add on a few accessories which will up the price. The way I look at it is i'd rather pay a bit more up front,

"NOT TOTALY WIRELESS." on
Pros: My wife likes it
Cons: There is NO airport card, guys! I have to go through the pain of hooking up to my LAN. The fact that it has a plug in for 1 Network Ethernet 10Base-T/100Base-TX is no big deal either. They all have it. Where is my network cable? Is that too much to ask

"Not like the old Macs, Horrible Operating System!" on
Pros: Great style and price!
Cons: Unable to alphabetize the Address Book!
Summary: Just took delivery of a new iMAC G-5 Desktop with the 20" screen. What a surprise, you are UNABLE to alphabetize the Address Book in your Email Program. Store said it could not do this, Apple Chat on Line said the same thing. Very, very poor system as our older Macs could do this. Don't buy this machine is you do much email and have a large address book. You also cannot sent Emails as BCC, only as To: or CC:. Older Mac's would allow you to send your emails as BCC.

"BEWARE - Power Supply Breaks Over and Over" on by MaggayT
Pros: Great Styling, sleek lines.
Cons: Terrible customer service and bad power supply.
Summary: After 2 years of ownership, my power supply broke/over heated. After hours on the phone with MAC and a very expensive fix $700. Viola! Well, at least for another year - then once again, power supply and motherboard out - and another $700 dollars. Well, it's now a total of 4 yrs and once again - broken. After much complaining, I was told that 40% of G5s actually break due to poor design / power supply can't cool. WOW.
