    "Sleek, computing dynamo"

by shabaas on April 14, 2005

Pros: Easy to setup. Even easier to use.

Cons: Blinking light comes on when the computer sleeps and you can't turn it off.

Summary: I decided to get a refurbished 17-inch iMac from Apple for $200 less than the original price. I used the extra $200 on RAM from crucial dot com. This puppy breezes thru everyday operations. I'm a PC guy, but I spend way more time on the imac. It's great for multimedia - editing, pro tools, etc. I find it funny when people complain about system failure. It's a machine. Sometimes stuff breaks. PC's are no different. Just make sure you have a bangin' warranty and you won't have to cry over spilled milk. The best part: I don't have to babysit my Apple. No reformatting. No 800 billion viruses. No defragging. And it's fun to play with.
