Apple Mac Mini (2.0GHz Intel Core 2 Duo)

Pros: The small, ultra-modern simplistic look is great. We have this as our kitchen computer, and the ability to leave it on and not really worry about the energy use is awesome, it runs multiple apps just fine with little to no drag

Cons: Wish it would have had a SD card reader included, for fast uploading with the Nikon camera. HDMI support like all else are saying would have been nice

Summary: We just bought the 27" iMac over christmas, and we're becoming a fully converted Mac family. Decided to change our dell computer in the kitchen to a Mac. Problem was I didn't want to spend money on another iMac, because we have a great 24" 1080p monitor with HDMI support. So we looked into the mini, and found it would be the definite pick for us. I know some reviews have some bickering, and the fact that other Windows based computers have more to it at less price. But the bottom line is, it's a Mac, and you can't go wrong with that. Sure it doesn't have Bluray, but thats not a deal breaker, we have the PS3, that works fine. But this little guy definity packs a lot of punch to the machine. It's a must have if you already have a monitor and want to get first time mac, or addition.
