I bought the Mac Mini for my daughter but use it ocassionally for work. Installed MSOffice for Mac. The 500mb RAM is not enough to handle copy & paste records in Excel as it took 5-10 seconds to copy non-contiguous rows into the clipboard even if you select only a few records. I recommend at least 1G RAM to run MSOffice with the Mac Mini although I'm not 100% sure if it is the shortage of RAM that slows the basic MSOffice functions. The Options key is also too cumbersome to use for keyboard shortcuts such as Copy & Paste between programs. Excel junkies that like to use keyboard shortcuts should therefore beware as functions such as ALT+= (SUM) is not possible in the MAC. So be prepared to use the mouse more than the keyboard for basic functions.
