"A novelty at best? How rude!!"
Pros: Small.. Fast. Quiet. Price.
Cons: Nothing for me.
Summary: I can't understand such a disdainful- yes, disdainful calling the eee box a novelty- review. This computer can easily replace what many people are using right now and they will be jumping for joy that they can finally toggle between programs (which pop right open, btw), have lots of things going at once, without a delay. And that is pretty much all the average person wants to do. If you are into playing games, keep looking, but if you are looking to upgrade that tanker old Dell you've been coaxing along for five years, and want something small that is about as zippy as a body needs, try out this little eee box. Forget those stupid speed tests- big deal. This little thing works just fine and you won't be breaking your back to rearrange the room or move it. You can also leave it on 24-7 without worrying about your electric bill. The reviewer here needs to review PCs based upon what the computer is intended for, not what he uses his computer for. Damn geeks. Who needs those beast computers anymore? Really.
