  • "An excellent desktop PC for the price."

Pros Lots of USB plugs. Front mounted card reader, USB, Mic and Headphone Jack. Big and fast SATA hard-drive. Windows 7 runs great. On-board graphics can be easily replaced with a PCIe Graphics Card. I am running an Ati Radeon HD 4550. No problems!

Cons Does not have an IDE connection option. Case is sturdy and light but can get a little loud.

Summary This is by far the best computer I have ever owned. Thanks to ASUS and Microsoft, it can be modified/upgraded with no problems. The new Windows 7 is in my opinion the best version of Windows ever. It boots up quickly and has all the ports and slots you'll ever need (with the exception of an IDE connection) Everything is easily accessible. I would recommend buying a PCIe graphics card. The on-board sound is fine for most people but again it can be easily replaced. I have yet to run into any software or hardware problems of any kind. For the price it's the best thing going. ASUS has long been known for great motherboards and now as a laptop & desktop manufacturer they have set the bar for both price and performance.

Pros Quick Start up, No bloat ware when i bought it from Bestbuy, and runs 1080p videos smoothly, plus large amounts of hard drive space for everything needed, and enough ram to do what you need to do, 10 USB ports

Cons Hard drive has a rather odd(but not loud) noise when it's running, integrated graphics are not great for gaming

Summary At $500, this is an excellent computer, it has enough hard drive space that I would need, the RAM makes everything run smoothly along with the dual core processor, and it has an HDMI output to connect to HD TV's, 10 USB ports(4 front 6 back) and SD card slots on the front. The hard drive makes an odd noise while it's running, but if you have anything making noise, it's covered up. It also has a PCI-E 2.0x16 slot for future graphic cards upgrades, but only a 300Watt power supply, Overall, a wonderful desktop PC at this price
