"This is the coolest computer I have seen"
Pros: Black lacquer looks, RAM, connections, remote, trackball keyboard, HDMI
Cons: none for the money

Updated on Apr 27, 2009Disk drive is bad - sounding like a power drill most of the time and will not read blank discs half the time. Looks lock and just spins the blank disc constantly unless I force shutdown - and sometimes force shutdown and eject dont even stop it from spinning. Now I have to deal with Asus and see about shipping it somewhere - this piece of **** game console imitator is only 3 months old and it has done this almost the whole time.
Updated on Jul 17, 2009Turned out to be a disappointment. I regret buying it. I had to shio it cross country 3 times before I threatened ASUS enough to send me a replacement. Each time they worked on it, it got worse - inside and outside. The disc drive was a piece of crap almost straight ouit of the brand new box. The audio jack shortened out, the ethernet jack was loose and would not hold the cable, the slick black case was scratched up from all the shipping and poor packaging by ASUS, and the seams where the face was joined to the body were uneven and bulged so much that the internal blue light shined through them. After 4 months, my computer looked and worked like some second hand piece from a thrift store.
I will never buy another ASUS computer.
Updated on Aug 24, 2009Turned out to be a complete piece of **** and ASUS is not honoring the warrnaty. Shanelle Randisi and Robert Diaz are lying crooks who work for ASUS in denying customers thier rights to new wanrranty replacement when they can not repair the original unit or the beat-uprefurbished units that they attempt to pawn off on customers.
DONT BUT ANYTHING FROM ASUS ! They dont deserve it.
