    Pros Competively Priced

Cons They just pump out machines and have no follow up for help with issues

Summary I bought a PC from them for $2K. They charged my visa and shipped 3 weeks later. It showed up with a cracked case and it was DOA...nothing worked at start-up. I sent it back and called to see what the status was...they couldn't find it until 2 more phone calls later. They said they fixed it and got me a new case after half a dozen more calls. It showed up again 3 weeks later DOA AND in the same cracked case! Strike 2. I called and asked them to get another one built asap with all new parts and put a rush on it and they refused. They said the best they could do is put me back into the production queue...AT THE END OF THE LINE! I said, "no thanks"...just give me my money back.

They made no attempt to rectify a situation or save me as a customer. They were rude on the phone...oh that reminds me...these punks make 24,000 pc's a year and have 10 open phone lines on tech support...which explains why the line is almost always busy. 9 out of 10 calls will end with a disappointing busy signal...have fun with that tech support...now I know why they offer "life-time" phone tech support...because you'll be on the phone for the rest of your life...Dell's outsourced tech support isn't that great either, but at least you can get some guru from India to help you out and the phone does actually ring instead of getting a busy signal...they're probably using rotary phones there too. Anyway...they may make a nice pc...but I'll never know because they can't seem to fix them and they lied when they told me that they would get me a new case.

The sad part is that the old parts from this thing will probably end up back on the shelf and in your next computer. They never did get used other than tests and burn-in time, but they've actually traveled more miles than Lewis and Clark.

Stay away from Cyber Power if you want good customer service. You get what you pay for. Cheap really is cheap.

Pros OK if you dont mind product that is delivered not functioning

Cons Tech and repair numbers dont work - they put you on hold then disconnect u after 10 minutes

Summary AVOID THIS COMPANY LIKE THE PLAGUE. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. The summary of my long and miserable story is that 6 weeks after payment, after delivery of a non functioning computer, perhaps 20 to 30 hours on the phone with cyperSCAM - a week of trying to get through customer service lines that one sales rep admits are BROKEN - I have no computer and I am waiting for a $1300 refund. If I ever get my money back (and I think I might not) this company insists on keeping $50 because it is company policy to charge shipping. STAY AWAY

  • "cyberpower abysmal customer service"
    on by sebabb

Pros cheap computer systems - well configured

    Cons abysmal customer service

Summary I purchased a Cyberpower 7500 tower and the price was right. Great price for the components.

But if you can't troubleshoot all your own issues (and some may be serious) I would adivse you to spend more and purchase from a different company.

They do NOT have 24/7 tech support.
I called repeatedly (speed dial) from 7pm -9 pm on 3 different occasions and never got an answer (rings for 1 minute then goes to voice mail), left several messages and never got a response. E-mailed and got no response.

I did get through to a receptionist during normal business hours and after 20 minutes was transferred to a surly tech help guy who did answer my questions but left me questioning his honesty and my decision to buy a cyberpower pc.

It was a good deal for the price but if you can't trust what's in the box and can't verify it yourself, buy somewhere else

Pros I've learned alot about restart loops and other computer nightmares

Cons Money spent for aggravation and customer antagonism, not customer service

Summary I received my computer with problems right out the box, as it would intermitantly go into a retart loop. Tech support was extremely difficult to get thru to... and had me looking for every possible scenario of how the problem could be on my end, i.e. viruses, compatibility issue, modem or connection problems, blah, blah, blah. 3 weeks of pulling my hair out and they concede it's a RAM defect, and I'm now waiting another 7-10 days for the replacement part! Customer service arrogant and unconcerned about my dissatisfaction! Obviously 24 hour bench testing claim is lie if customers are receiving machines with defective RAM out of the box (see user opinion "DO NOT BUY A CYBERPOWER" dated JAN 30, 2007).
Look folks, if your taking the time to read these reviews, than you obviouly are looking to make an intelligent decision as an informed consumer...so consider yourself informed and warned!!!
Look for another company that has their #@*!
together before you throw away your hard earned cash.

  • "Arrive broken, horrible tech support, wasted nearly a full day of my time, and now wrong parts"
    on by longlost2

Pros Seemed like a good idea at the time

Cons Poor quality workmanship; terrible tech support attitude and service; once they have your money...good luck!

Summary This company is the worst I've ever experienced. It is now three weeks after I recieved the machine, and it remains in parts on my office conference room table.

Today the replacement parts came (which I have to install on my own time) and, guess what, they are incomplete! And they won't lift a finger to go out of their way and rush me the rest ("it takes three days to get an order placed, and there's nothing I can do about it" - the customer service rep).

This is a machine put together to process orders as fast and as cheaply as they can, and we customers pay the price. Beware!
