"Horrible support undoes any value" on

Pros: Standard product at low price but beware.

Cons: Motherboard is unreliable, tech support is even less so, they don't know a lot and are impossible to get on the phone. You get what you pay for.

"I'm so glad I didn't buy this!" on by cmorrow1005

Pros: It looked good on paper!

Cons: Customer service was questionable, before I even bought it.

Summary: I spent several days researching a CyberPower gaming PC and comparing to other PCs. I finally ordered one of their gaming PCs online. After I hit the "Submit" button and confirmed on the chicken page, I received an email stating that my purchase had been accepted. A few hours later, I received an email stating they needed a photocopy of my driver's license (both sides) and a photocopy of my credit card (both sides) faxed to them to confirm my purchase. I refused to send them my identity and financial documents over an unsecured analog line. I also said that I was uncomfortable with what would happen to the "paper" when it arrived on their fax machine. I asked repeatedly to speak with a supervisor, and was told that I was speaking with the account manager. I offered to call my credit card provider and authorize the charge. Again, I was told it was company policy that I needed to fax the photocopies of my DL and CC. After 2 days of e-mails back and forth, asking to speak with a supervisor and denied, I cancelled my order. I ended up purchasing an Alienware, for a whole lot more money. But my ID and CC are secure.

"DISASTER FOR SUPPORT" on by ecasey

    Pros: great on paper

Cons: forget service and standing by their product

Summary: Spent 6000 on system, motherboard bad. They have had computer for six weeks, never communicated. I keep calling and am told to call back. Today I was told that the repair department is in the middle of moving and dont have time to answer emails. They are too busy fixing computers. Doesnt matter how good their systems are, if they cant support their equipment and leave users hanging......... Buyer beware is my view

"I bought one that didn't work the first day" on

Pros: The price is good for the hardware you get.

Cons: When the PC kept crashing, they didn't answer the phone and when support did, they said they were sending what they thought was the part to fix the problem and didn't. Called again and they tried the same line. I had to get the Bureau of electronics rep

    "awesome PC" on

Pros: Swapping a few features can easily transform this pc from a gaming one into a multimedia/digital video PC.

    Cons: None
