"More than a Month to get it Right"
Pros: Lower Price, Prompt Delivery of Replacement Video Card
Cons: Took Two Weeks too Long for Delivery, Some Bugs
Summary: I bought the following system in mid-December 2005 and it was not delivered until mid-January 2006, two weeks longer than planned. The media card reader did not work and the glass case cover was cracked upon delivery. Customer service takes FOREVER because they have to call you back. However, they do help on the return call. The media card reader just was not plugged in. After about three days of use I began to hear a loud buzzing noise inside the case, and panicked because I know little about computers. After several return calls from a tech person, I discovered that the video card was causing the noise. They sent a new card and it came quickly, and had free return shipping. It turns out that a little label had fallen off the video card and gotten stuck inside the fan. I'm sending it back anyway. Other than that, I'm happy with the system so far. Anything is better than my old HP bought in 1999.
