Pros Good customer build website with many options.
Cons Worst tech support and policies of any I've dealt with!
Summary I have been a CyberPower customer since 2001 and have spent more than $75k on business systems from them since my first order. I used to think they offered a great product for the price. My last order of 9 systems has 3 defective that constantly reboot and are basically useless. CyberPower refuses to resolve the situation. Their 3rd party onsite service provider went bankrupt and they did not notify us, and they refuse to take any responsibilty for the onsite warranty that they bundled with the systems. According to them its not their problem and they won't replace the onsite coverage. When I called with the issues they had us troubleshoot and troubleshoot and troubleshoot to no end, but the system are still broken and obviously defective, even according to their support people. They refuse to replace them and keep giving me the run around. The customer service folks are horrible, they obviously don't care about customers at all, even though I've given them so much business. Lap in customer service and Steve in sales are especially useless drones. I'll never do business with CyberPower again and would recommend that nobody else risks their money on a company with no regard for their customer and extremely shady customer support policies. Don't count any any of their warranties, believe me!
Pros not much in the way of Pros!
Cons too many to list
Summary I had a very bad experience with Cyberpower. Sent me the wrong system and were very unhelpful. Things got worse when some of the equipment I ordered were not installed! The list goes on and on... Just very unperfessional staff and disapointing company.
Cons very bad customer service
Summary My experience with Cyberpower came from my purchase of a 7500 tower and the price was right. Great price for the components.
But if you can't troubleshoot all your own issues (and some may be serious) I would adivse you to spend more and purchase from a different company.
They do NOT have 24/7 tech support.
I called repeatedly (speed dial) from 7pm -9 pm on 3 different occasions and never got an answer (rings for 1 minute then goes to voice mail), left several messages and never got a response. E-mailed and got no response.
I did get through to a receptionist during normal business hours and after 20 minutes was transferred to a surly tech help guy who provided answers to my questions but left me questioning his honesty and my decision to buy a cyberpower pc.
It was a good deal for the price but if you can't trust what's in the box and can't verify it yourself, buy somewhere else
Pros I wish there was a pro to list
Cons Worst customer service ever!
Summary I bought a Cyberpower gaming system after reading a positive review of the bargain-priced Cyberpower computers on CNET. All I learned was that you get what you pay for. I was shipped a computer with a defective RAM chip which surely would have been discovered if Cyberpower tested the computer for 24 hours before shipping as they claim. As it was, this problem was only discovered and fixed after I spent countless hours with Cyberpower's incompetent and rude tech support. That's if you can even get through to tech support. You often are prompted to leave a message on an answering machine - not once was one of my messages returned.
Even after replacing the defective RAM chip, my computer still doesn't work properly. Technical support basically refuses to help me. Every time I call they tell me to reinstall Windows (their solution for everything), something I have already done three times. I have told them that I simply want to send the computer back to them and have them fix it and ship it back to me...they refuse. Basically, I bought a computer that has never worked, and Cyberpower refused to help fix it and won't take it back. I have honestly never seen worse customer service in my entire life. I have little doubt this company will soon be out of business.
Do yourself a favor and NEVER buy a Cyberpower. CNET seems to like the ones they've tested - but I bet they've never actually bought one and had to deal with this horrible, cut rate company.
Pros AMD FX-60 + ATI Xpress 200 chipset + ATI CROSSFIRE X1900 (512 MB Graphic memory each)
Cons A lil bit noisy but it get's teh job done, Still has a lil trouble with OpenGL and works better with D3D and Direct X
Summary I'm in love with this machine!
