"Could not agree more with dee_thoms!!!!"
1.5 starson by SheyvioletPros: After spending enough money it finally works
Cons: I fought the good fight with Dell but as usual their policy, the customer is always wrong. They refused to send someone out as promised, to fix it, I spent countless hours on "ignore" or "inept" aka: Tech Support. I will NEVER buy a Dell again!
Summary: RUN, don't walk, run. I know Cnet says this is a good computer so I'm guessing they were sent one that was actually pulled from the line and hand built to send to them so the review would be good, I have no other guess why the review. We went toe to toe and I refused to pay for it until they fixed it, they refused to fix it until I paid (the other half, I paid half down) I paid, they still refused to fix it and never did. I have had it in the shop so many times they guy knows every inch of this garbage.

*This. I bought the premium version of this machine. Long story short, first computer DOA -> resolved after hours w/ Indian technical support and my own technical initiative -> dead pixel(s) next day -> tech sent out -> RAM and video card also found to be defective -> hours w/ support again; had to insist to be sent a replacement instead of sending back defective unit to be fixed -> replacement unit locked up on Dell logo, but I fixed it myself through playing with BIOS -> now computer is making clicking sounds randomly (hardrive?). Also, loyalty program is a scam still have not gotten the 5% rewards advertised. Buyer beware both Dell products and service are horrible. Granted the machine has a beautiful resolution; reliability/service is mandatory with technology. Do yourself a favor and google Dell customer service- I wish I had....
