"Great Machine For Price"
Pros: Inexpensive & Fast
Cons: None So Far But Needs More Standard Memory
Summary: I purchased this computer from Tiger Direct 4-5 months ago for less than $300 including taxes. I added a 1-Gig DDR RAM chip and a NVidia GeForce 7300 SE video card....which brought the total cost to around $365...while I don't play video games, the computer screams. It handles all of my applications extremely quickly (and I tend to run multiple applications simultaneously). Watching video, etc. is very smooth.
My only "gripe" with the computer is it came with 512 RAM standard of which a lot of it was taken/shared by the built in video card. This tended to "bog" things down a bit. I think if the machine even came with a cheap video card, it would have performed better "out of the box"....however, with RAM and video memory so cheap and easy to install (for most people), I don't think its too much of a problem. The whole process of opening the computer and installing both modules took less than 5 minutes (and I'm no "techie" either).....I turned on the machine and it read the memory right away. The video drivers were installed via the CD which came with the card. No problems since.
All-in-all, I would highly recommend it if one can get a good price on it.
