| The Bottom Line | It has a sleek new look and it runs Windows Vista as well as you'd want, but we wish Gateway had taken more risks with the new eMachines T5224 desktop. This system delivers respectable budget performance with most of the features you'd want, but we think you can find a better PC for the money if you shop around. | With new polish and a whole lot of bang for the buck, HP's new Pavilion Slimline s3020n leads the small PC field overall. The glossy black chassis, added expandability, and even a new keyboard make this system attractive both inside and out. | eMachines' new T5226 desktop is powerful enough to run Windows Vista smoothly. It should also power you through most of the common modern-day applications without too much fuss. We just wish it offered more compelling hardware for the money.
