"price not worth it"on by kyadck
Pros Pre-build pc = not having to make own 12gb of ram the i7 cpu
Cons jut 1066mhz fsb? just 1 vid-card? no blueray drive? non-solid state HDD? VISTA? says nothing about keyboard/mouse or monitor either
Summary i built 2 computers that blow those specs away for just $1000 each, this is nothing special, your paying for a name
"$3400.00 USD?!?"on by grannelle
Pros I'd love to have something that high end.
Cons Da' price...
Summary Did that $3400.00 figure include keyboard, mouse, monitor, etc? If so, I'm convinced.
Pros Top of the line perfromance. Customizable looks. Warranty.
Cons None. If price were really an issue, you would not be considering Falcon anyway, would you?
Summary When I was looking to have a custom built system painted the same color as my favorite car, the only option was Falcon. Sure, I could build it myself, or buy Alienware or whatever. The performance would be similar, but nowhere else could I specify such a high quality and customized look. Maybe I have the only Porsche Nordic Gold Metallic computer out there. In two years, when all the inside components are outdated and worhtless, it is the case that will live on. As an aside, the same holds true for my HP Blackbird Dedication rig. The case is a magnificant work of computer art and engineering.
Pros It's a nice color and I'm sure it's fast.
Cons It's too expensive for the hardware offered. No Maintenance program available.
Summary I have an Xtreme Power GX3 R. ASUS Rampage II Extreme, Liquid Cooled i7 965 OC'd to 4GHz, Liquid Cooled GTX 295, 6GB DDR3 2000 OCZ Reaper, Two 250GB OCZ Vertex SSD, 2 Year warranty and 1 year remote maintenance. I paid 6,500 dollars and I have not seen anything that compares to it. Falcon SUCKS. Xtreme Power has the right idea. Nothing compares to it.
Pros easy to setup.
Summary worth a look. i would just make sure you don't pay too much for it.
