  • "Beautiful Build, Great Parts. BIG Problems Out of Box"

Pros: Top Notch Parts. Amazing, Clean Design and Build, Liquid Cooled, QUIET AND FAST, Most amazing case I've ever seen. Friendly tech support. The custom case design is literally genius, and the inside of the case resembles a MAC in how easy and accessible it

Cons: RAM choices were expensive for what you get, and not many High End choices, and all of them at only 1066. With this MOBO, a 1200 or 1600 choice would be much better.

The unit was Incorrectly assembled and a TON of hassle to fix: On first start, Windows

Summary: When the system was created, they incorrectly installed the Optical drives (with regular SATA cables) into the SATA6.0 motherboard ports, and installed the Hard Drives (with SATA6.0 cables) into the regular SATA3.0 motherboard ports. Additionally, they incorrectly configured the storage devices SATA to IDE, rather than AHCI. This created all sorts of communication problems and stability issues, and corrupted Windows install several times.

This was only apparent after a detailed examination of the system, and after trying multiple re-installs of windows, running MEMTEST, re-installing the opticals, and finally, disconnecting all of the drives and re-configuring the MOBO and BIOS setup.

During this period from the time that I contacted Tech Support to the time that I figured out the problem, I had 3 calls that lasted around 2 to 3 hours, and many other hours of work on my own. TWICE, the tech person set up a time to call me back and never called me back, having to push the time forward.

Once again, once you get them on the phone, they're great tech support. However, you should NEVER have to wait for someone to call you who doesn't call you.

All in all, the computer is absolutely awesome now that it's working correctly, but the mistake in build, and the tech hassles ARE TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE for a $7,500 system that is brand new. Will I buy from them again? Yes. I appreciate that they keep jobs in the US, and overall build is light years above all other custom companies.
