Gateway DX4831-01e

Pros: Fast, low price and decent sound output.

Cons: Locks up constantly to the point of being unusable. Can not be fixed.

Summary: Bought it for some video and audio editing and it seemed to work decent enough. I was still using another computer for day to day stuff and didn't discover the problems until after warranty was up. I finally did a clean install (from another source not from the partition) and it started working correctly, for a while, anyway. I will never buy a retail system again. Customer support is a joke and they won't even talk to you unless you pay $100+. So I turn the thing on and try to use it. If it works for a while I will use it, when it locks I switch to my old laptop for surfing the net.
