"Your review is just wrong."
Pros: Powerful - it is the only computer I found at the retail level that hit the maximum 5.9 on the Windows Experience Score Scale. For your reference the $3,000 Blackbird only got a 5.6. Really well built and cuts through apps like hot knife thru butter
Cons: Runs hot. Almost too hot. I think it did crash on me once because of the heat. Maybe should have used DDR3 RAM.
Summary: Your review is completely wrong. I went to store looking to buy a HP or a Dell but I am so glad I was talked into buying this one. Your review criticizes the rig for going overboard on the RAM. So what? Someday I might use all that RAM and it's good to know its there. Your review also states this computer is not a good value - horse pucky. I don't know how Gateway / Acer makes any money giving so much away but selling it for so cheap. At first I didn't like the looks either but it has grown on me. And anyways I bought a nice monitor and thats what needs to look good, not the tower that goes on the floor anyways. Good Job Gateway.
