"Worst Purchase Decision Ever Made!" on by Garcias171
Pros: The idea of having an all in one PC caught my attention.
Cons: The "One" crashed within the first 3 weeks it was in my home. The hard drive was replaced twice. I just received it back from Gateway, plugged it in, and mouse/keyboard weren't responding. I was informed the motherboard had to be replaced now.
Summary: If you are thinking of purchasing a "One" from Gateway, please reconsider. It was the biggest $1500 mistake I ever made. The "One" I have in my home is 9 months old. No one should have this many problems with a 9 month old computer, much less a $1500 one. Consider your other options if you are looking to purchase an all in one. Despite the name, the "One" is definitely not the one.

Pros: Has a nice big screen, big hard drive and space for anther one,and it has a wireless keyboard and mouse, and its a good looking computer, last but not least it made it threw my house FIRE and hit with a FIRE HOSE.
Cons: Can not tilt screen, and no up grades for the sound card, and video card!
Summary: Like I said I never had a problem with the computer, and it made it threw a a FIRE and works like brand new, I say its a GREAT BUY!

Pros: NONE. This product is awful. I had to give it a rating of at least 1.5 stars. Really I would rate it a .5
Cons: MONITOR DIED. GATEWWAY is known for this. See number of class action lawsuits on their products (mostly monitors).
Summary: I bought this POS a year ago. Was working fine one day and then the next nothing. I think what happened was the monitor died. THe problem with these all in ones is if one thing goes, you can pretty much put it in the lost column. I tried to contact Gateway, and since it was 5 days past warranty they offered no assistance. They said I could go trough the paid service support. I dont know whats worst, the computer or Gateway support. GO WITH DELL OR APPLE. YOU WILL BE HAPPIER!!!!!!!!!!

Pros: The product is awesome in the way it works but has issues that really upset me such as power issues.
Cons: I now own a door stop and it's the prettiest one and most expensive door stop I have ever owned.
Summary: I dislike that once the warranty runs out so does the unit. Then they love to charge for support. I believe that anyone who is attempting to buy one. DONT

Pros: Quick and easy and stylish..BUT...
Cons: Had to replace CD drive after 6 months. Hard drive died after only one and a half years.
Summary: Gateway has just informed me that they do not service the gateway all in one any longer! Pray you don't have any problems like I have after owning it for only 1 and 1/2 years (warranty up after one year)Told me to take it to any local shop for repair! I first had to pay $200 for telephone 'help' before being told they do not service. Was on hold 3 times in the same day for over an hour before I even got a live person. How can Gateway NOT service their own machine?! Especially one this new? WARNING! DO NOT PURCHASE!
