    "Extremely Overpriced"

    by Delta_1011 on February 28, 2009

Pros: It should boot into windows.

    HP has good warranties.

    Cons: Overpriced
    Overpriced
    Overpriced
    Overpriced

Summary: I'll build you a MUCH faster PC for $1250 and make plenty of money off of it for myself, believe me. Considering buying those exact same parts only costs $750-$800 for a consumer, $1200 is a HUGE manufacturer tax, ignoring the fact that they get the parts cheaper.

Actually forgive my ignorance i retract my last comment. This isn't the model I saw this one is much slimmer and more acceptable size wise, but whatever that other HP Voodoo computer was that i saw it was wayyyy too big

hahahaha! ndmato99 you obviously have not been around internet product reviews very long! People always post trolls like this.

Delta1101, your review is pointless because all you want obviously is the cheapest possible machine to play your games. Why are you so hostile about the firebird? and the other poster is correct, I don't think you can get parts for $750-$800. You're looking at least half that much just for the processor and Windblowz.

You're full of BS. Prove it and post your parts list. That includes the memory and the blue-ray burner and the OEM OS and your machine should support all of the same input/outputs.

I specced out parts when I was researching computers and there's no way you can get them for $750. It's at least $1200 for the basic parts alone and that doesn't include the liquid cooling system or the high-efficiency power supply.

You could build "A" computer that might have a bigger graphics card but you couldn't build anything like this and your computer would suck a couple hundred dollars more in electricity over the life of the machine.

Also, only users are supposed to post reviews. Not people who don't use the product. You may feel free to respond to reviews but you shouldn't be reviewing products you don't actually use. It's disingenuous and, frankly, in poor taste and discredits you.
