"MAJOR HARDWARE FAILURE WITHIN THE FIRST MONTH!!!" on by HPSUCKER

Pros: This product worked very well for the first 20 days (only).

Cons: Yesterday, I experienced a hardware failure after 20 days of use. The screen will not display at all. HP now asks that I ship it back, saying they will take 10-12 business days to look at it, and 3-5 days to ship it back to me. They won't replace it.

Summary: I thought - based on the professionals' reviews - that I was buying a high quality product. Now I'm being told by HP that their "quality" service to fix their defective product will leave me without any computer for the next 3+ weeks. I run a small business and that is not an option, so I'll have to go out tomorrow to get a replacement - and it certainly won't be an HP product - ever again...

"HP OMNI 220Q: Save your money!" on by EstherMK

Pros: I got 12 months of no interest, with no payments.

Cons: I got the I-7 with 8GB RAM, 2TB HD, souped up graphics card, and most of the bells and whistles this model has to offer. My OLD base-line computer, with 3GB of RAM was faster / more responsive. This thing is SLOW, SLOW, SLOW. I'm so disappointed.

Summary: I have yet to figure out how to adjust the monitor settings. When I contacted HP, they sent me to a Compaq monitor site, which of course was of no help at all. HP's average response time is over a week, if they respond at all, which is normally the case. I've been using this machine for about two months now, and there's no improvement across the board.

I so wish I'd saved my money and just kept plugging along with my old computer. I'm not impressed at all. Same goes for the new HP printer I bought last fall. After years of using HP printers, there's a very noticeable and drastic decline in quality. "Customer Service" is a JOKE! On the other hand, I couldn't find anyone else who could provide the specs I wanted, within a reasonable price range. Guess we're all stuck...
