"really great machine"
Pros: decent power, tons of storage space, and nice extras
Cons: not that great for the hardcore gamer
Summary: For the price I got my m8430f, I'm incredibly pleased with its performance. The extras on this machine (lots of usb slots, firewire, card readers, etc.) are wonderful for multimedia people like myself, and the added tv tuner and windows media center is like the icing on the cake for me. The only thing for me was I wanted a better graphics card to play games like Crysis, and in order to switch out the 8500 with my beastly 8800 GTX, I had to upgrade my power supply. But it all worked out wonderfully for me since I had everything I needed and, once installed, the system worked perfectly and is now a powerhouse gaming/multimedia machine.
The only little thing that bothered me was the lack of any extra (full-sized) pci slots on the motherboard. I have no idea if this is normal for a computer like this but I would have liked at LEAST 1 more pci slot. The dial-up modem was able to go, however, and the tv tuner only took a pci x1 slot (although I kind of wish I could pop in my dual tuner card instead of this single one) ..so I did end up having 1 free pci slot for a sound card or something.
Overall I'm extremely pleased with my purchase and would highly recommend this PC to anyone wanting a really versatile multimedia PC. If you are a really hardcore gamer though, you'll need a better graphics card than the one in here.

Hi,
I was wondering what power supply you bought for your machine. I'm currently looking to upgrade my video card as well but am having trouble finding a power supply that fits. Thanks!
