Pros Solid computer. Runs Win 7 with no problems. Handles multi-tasking well. I have three or four programs running most of the time.
Cons Only supports max 6mb of RAM.
Summary Would recoomend this to my family & friends. Have owned it for over a year with zero problems.
Pros Was a good computer till calling tech support which totally messed it up
Cons We have had to call customer support 6 times in the past year of owning this computer, and after each call it has gotten worse. Thanks to clueless techs.
Summary VERY poor tech support, and lousy customer service. RUDE, ROBOTIC reps that don't have a clue on how to fix the computer, let alone on how to talk to customers. When calling for support I have been on the phone for up to 10 hrs, then told that they (the rep) needs to hang up, as their shift is over. I would NOT reccomend another HP product.
Pros Computer is very fast and hrd drive and fan are very quiet. Came with Vista but obtained free Win 7 upgrade from HP which was relatively painless. Upgrade to Win 7 was flawless. I upgraded the graphics card but other than that the system is standard!
Cons Only came with one DVD/CD Drive, as advertised though.
Summary I am really enjoying this computer. The only guess complaint that I have is that is is ver basic looking. Aside from that the Computer has been a solid performer for gaming amd more that enough for regular old everyday computing tasks such as internet browsing, using Microsoft applications, etc.. Highly reccomend, the price is right. I think I got more that I paid for having gotten this Refurbished system for $369@J and R... Plan to splurge and max the ram out since I saved so much on the front end!!!!
Pros For anyone but the latest bleeding-edge gamer, fast fast fast!
Cons Nothing has jumped out at me... yet;-) (But it's been less than 24 hours)
Summary I just upgraded from my serviceable 4-year-old HP desktop and... boy oh boy is this thing fast! Fastest in the bunch? Maybe not, but I know I'm ready for Windows 7 and beyond.
It looks good, and I already had a great 19-inch flat monitor to hook it to. Best Buy did me well in the de-crapware-ing, and ... I've had fewer problems with this upgrade than any before (hopefully the 'on' button's new location is sturdier than my ol' Costco box;-)
