"Good basic PC with a solid package of software. A bargain at $180 at Comp USA with rebates"on by balcanon
Pros Comes with a nice suite of software and a decent size HD
Cons A little underpowered for graphics applications
Summary This was purchased to replace an old PII system, so it's a big upgrade for that system in comparison. I was very pleasently surprised by the amount of software that came bundled even if all of the trial offers for some of it are annoying. I was able to get this at COMP USA for $180 after rebates which is a steal for a brand new PC that actually has decent specs. I installed a DVD burner that cost me $30 through Newegg to spice up the functionality a little. I may put in an extra 512mb of RAM or a separate video card to make up for the shared RAM that this system uses, but I want to see how it performs for a while before I do that. I also got a free Canon printer/scanner/copier with this deal so I can't complain at all at the price I paid. Even if you can't get the price I got, it would still make a nice basic second PC.
Pros Cheap, Lots of USB ports
Cons Memory, Old Lame Procecer, Old Parts
Summary It works,
Sorta but it is unrelibal with the memory leaks, and 100% CPU Ussage Errors
