HP TouchSmart 600

Pros: Nice screen and colors. Good keyboard and mouse.

Cons: Slow overall compared to others. Limited functions on the touch screen. Bad Seagate hard drive. Crashed. HP support is terrible.

Summary: I have the Touchsmart 505 and the hard drive crashed. HP even has a warning on their website about these hard drives crashing if you don't update the firmware. But how would you know to go to their web site to check? Instead of doing a recall like a good manufacturer would do, they ignore the problem and say it isn't covered under warranty! They charge you upwards of $200 to give you a new hard drive and recovery discs. Shameful support by HP. There should be a class action process against them on these Touchsmart machines. I decided the HP was worth fixing and trying to sell for scrap. The biggest computer mistake I have ever made is buying this machine.
