  • "Burned by Lenovo"
    on by lenovosarecrap

Pros Looks nice but poor quality assembly causes frequent crashes.

Cons I have had a lot of trouble with my Lenovo computer. Hasn't worked right from the beginning, with Internet connectivity being the big problem. It crashes a lot, and lately has not gone online at all. I've had repairs, but it's been a frustrating experi

    Summary Disappointing and frustrating.

  • "Very nice cpu., very smooth."
    on by mystagog_inc

Pros comes with an really packed version of Windows Media Center, which really gives the user unique theater feeling. Great sound and picture, plus, comes with a Media Remote.

Cons A little heavy (34lbs.). After putting Linux on the other partition, I found out that getting the actual "touchscreen" is a bit of work to get going, in fact, still working on it. I need help with that, as I am a newbie just learning Linux. (just to get a

  • "Great All in One touchscreen PC for the family"
    on by ezveedub

Pros Nice 1080p cinema like screen, HDMI in and out, HD OTA tuner, JBL sound, 1TB HDD and touchscreen with Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. The ATI 1gb integrated video is also good and so is the multi-card reader.

Cons Original 4024-1AU A700 models only have 4gb DDR and a DVD drive. Newer units have 8GB DDR and BluRay. Intermittently, Bluetooth mouse disconnects for a few seconds. The auto background lighting software can be annoying in dim lighting.

Summary I like this A700 overall. I have upgraded my unit with slimline SATA slot load BluRay burner and 8GB of 1333 DDR3 from G.Skill with no issues. I have also tweaked Windows 7 to run faster and turned off some of the Lenovo loaded software thats not really needed. Unit is simple to use. Both my spouse and 6 year old have used the unit with no issues or very little help at all. Runs all the games my kid loves to play without any issues and never seems to crash or lock up like some units usually do.

  • "Very happy with the machine"
    on by lkchang

Pros Performs well, had almost no issues with it. Push it with games multitasked with things like anti-virus scans and multiple background file uploads and backups.

Cons Touch screen doesn't seem to work well. Multi-touch not accurate.

Summary Highly recommend this machine as a powerful, high-quality, affordable all-in-one machine.
