"Heavy, solid, but a few cautions."
Pros: Solid, but it's an IBM.
Cons: Very limited upgrades.
Summary: Make sure that the HDD is a SATA drive, not the older PATA. There is only one IDE connector, and if you put both the CD/DVD and the HDD on the same cable, the system will run very slow (at the native CD speed).
Upgrading of video is limited to PCI only, not AGP or PCI-X.
The memory is dual channel, so for it to run best the two DDR modules (PC2700) must be identical (preferably dual-channel rated).
System software is easy to get. Google away with "ThinkCentre S50" and use the IBM site.
Heaviest PC for the power I've ever seen!
