"The Edge Z55 is a great mid-priced multi-use PC."
on by RN_IndyPros You don't have to be a gamer to appreciate the high build quality and dependability of this machine. That, alone, puts it into a class of by itself. The Edge Z55 is lightening-fast and is up to any task you may have for it.
Cons I've had my Edge Z55 for almost a year and I honestly do not have anything to grouse about. The day it was delivered, I plugged it in and its performance has been exemplary. It does everything Velocity Micro says it will do. Sorry, NO Cons.
Summary Before buying my Velocity Micro Edge Z55, I looked around at all of the machines available and was Not impressed with other companies' Trendy looking machines with their needlessly expensive automotive paint jobs; or gimmicky louvers on the roof of the case that open automatically as temperatures rise; or useless lighting schemes that change color at the turn of a knob. I could have afforded any one of them, and I opted to spend my hard earned money on the Velocity Micro Edge Z55 with its impressive list of Really USEFUL standard and optional equipment -- No Fads for me. Why spend so much more money when you really don't have to? Velocity Micro will hook you up more machine and less gimmick for a great price. In the market for your Dream Machine? Do what I did -- look around at the other machines first and then go to Velocity Micro for the best choices! One other BIG reason for buying Velocity Micro is that their Customer Care department is based in Richmond, Virginia so if you should ever need any support, you won't have to wrestle with an offshore language problem. I bought my first Velocity Micro ten years ago and now I'm a customer for life!

"$2300 for a "mid-range" gaming computer? Over-kill!"
on by tjn83186Pros If you want complete overkill and have more money in your pocket then brain cells left in your head....
Cons Really? 2 560 TI's for a "mid-range build"? One would be more then sufficient for the next 2 years....2 SSD's? Why not just put one 120 GB...this has rip-off written all over.
Summary Do a little research, compare parts through a few different sites, and build your own gaming computer...you will be much happier and save yourself a lot more money then paying someone $1000 to put all the parts together for you and saving you 4 hours....is it really worth being charged $250/hr for a kid in Korea to make your PC for you...

"Thats a nice system"
on by tperry23Pros Incredibly fast and reliable
Cons Doesnt die, i dont have an excuse to buy a new one
Summary I've had my Z55 for nearly 3 years and it hasnt let me down. I've had a few issues trying to figure things out and Ellen from their support staff has helped me out ton's. I shopped around a bit before buying and there was a few in the US that I liked, but Velocity stood out, and I'm happy I chose them. While my machine hasnt died yet, I am thinking to give this one to the wife and buy one for myself, this seems like a upgrade from my current Z55.

"VelocityMicro PCs are built very well, support is great"
on by lrivas1Pros Look inside the case and you can view the excellent wiring job. They have evolved this to an art. The interior is very clean and air flow is maximized. There is always room for additions, I added an Intel 320 Series SSD with 160 GB to my system.
Cons I have not found any in my system. I am happy with the hardware I selected where I balance dollards spent in hardware and software to be able to mazimize my investment.
Summary I use my system to play Call of Duty MW 2 and MW 3 with excellent results. I also use photo and video editing software to process vacations photos and videos with very good results. I did not buy two video cards, I found that one video card gives me excellent results for my purposes. The important thing is that VelocityMicro allows you to customize your system for your needs.

"I'm officially converted! I LOVE my PC!"
on by jesslonnPros Fast, reliable, great support service, looks great, and it's the first computer I've owned that I actually have no genuine complaints on. I had a $4000 computer (won't name names, but I returned it), this is 1/2 the price and is way better.
Cons Could be quieter... but I'm always working with Pandora on, so I don't really notice.
Summary I absolutely LOVE my machine! The sales and support staff are so wonderful! It's amazing that a company still exists without having to export calls to India. As for the PC, I've never been more pleased with a purchase! It's fast, runs great, and it's overall performance is just astounding. I will DEFINITELY be coming back to velocity micro in the future.
Great job on my system, guys. You truly outdid yourselves :)
