"Biggest piece of junk I've ever bought!"
Pros: They ship via USPS
Cons: System "fries" after 3 months of use...
Summary: Pay attention!
Do not under any circumstances buy anything from ?Velocity Micro.?
Caveat Emptor!
I bought one of their ?customized? systems ? I got it pretty fast over USPS and hooked it up to the rest of my peripherals ? it was working just fine - it lasted JUST THREE MONTHS! The damn thing ?fried? itself ? probably due to poor workmanship and cheap parts. I called the company and told them what happened; at first they were helpful, but after their attempted ?solutions? failed to bring the system back to life they just told me to ?go and find someone who can fix it? ? what a crock of ?! To add injury to insult they refused to honor the warranty ? get this: ?due to my operating environment being too hot?? so? hot to them is between 82 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit???!!! So that means that no one in the Southern Hemisphere can use their products? Oh wait?. I happen to be in the Northern part of the World? and damn, Alaska is having a heat wave?.maybe the ?environment is too hot? there too?
Oh geez? maybe I don?t know anything about computers?. I just happen to run an IT department? maybe it was really too hot... what happened to my other 3 computers operating in the same ?environment??
Save yourself the pain and the hassles and the snooty little remarks from people who obviously do not know what customer service, satisfaction and loyalty mean?.
Buy SONY computers?I?m extremely happy with my VAIO?s (2 desktops and a laptop) ? and they can handle the ?harsh? operating environments of ?hot-as-hell-the-walls-are-melting!? 82 degrees friggin Farentheit!
