    "Great Value!"

    Pros: For $1000 you can configure a fast machine, it's handled allsorts of new games so far, excellent customer service, most parts are retail (vs. oem)

    Cons: Loud (bought a quiet fan to replace the installed case fan); while the hand wiring allows for maximum airflow, it makes adding your own components a bit tricky (ie dvd drive, case fan, etc.)

    Love the computer but not the noise from the fan. My wife almost made me send it back! You mentioned that you replaced the fan. I asked Velocity about this and don't have a quieter fan for this model. What kind of fan did you use and is it working ok for you?
