"Excellence Home/Office Computer" on
Pros: Go to Velocity Micro and check it out, it's been updated from what you see at cnet.com. And it's better. New Case and you pick from a list of parts, so the computer is the way you need it. No software installed you do not need. Comes with every thing.
Cons: None

"This is how I would have built it" on by WadeArt
Pros: Strong, Stable platform
Cons: I haven't found any
Summary: Velocity Micro had several high end components to choose from when configuring the computer. I chose mine based on video editing and re-editing. When I got the computer I re-rendered 43 hours of technical training videos to mpeg1 in 25.8 hours. Astounding! I also like having the Raid striping and the extra storage space + expandability. Seriously if I had had the time I would have tried to build one the same way. They saved me the time and trouble.

"Caring Computer Craftsmanship" on by orbitaljoe
Pros: Top of the line componants (you get what you pay for)...Immaculate installations and cable routing...Tested, tuned and over-clocked at the factory
Cons: Still trying to find one
Summary: Although I configured my machine primarily for audio creation (basement studio), I haven't found anything to slow this baby down yet. Right out of the box the componants just meshed and hummed a beautiful tune. It seems that the techs that tuned and tested the machine at the factory new exactly what I needed it to do.
The AMD 4400 dual core just SCREAMS!
The Soundblaster X-FI Platinum sound card with the front facing I/O bay is just what the doctor ordered!
It's nice to find a computer company that actually cares about the appearance of, as well as attention to the air flow of the inside of the box. -
"I'll take it" on
Pros: Every component is perfectly matched, especially the hard drive array.
Cons: Pricy, but not really a bad value when you calculate the premium parts costs.

"It says Design" on
Pros: The design is good. AMD 64 my fav. Intel is dead folks. This is not a picture editing computer. Gaming that is why it has amd and 2 raptors hd. Nice screw firewire. Cnet gets paid to tell people this junk.
Cons: Design could be better is this all. I've seen better looking Pc a year ago. common.
