"Great for playing all media. Small form factor. Intuitive remote."
Pros: Plays all media. Easy enough for older family members to use.
Cons: Limited audio connections. No HDMI.
Summary: I have two of these and love them. They play music, pictures, and video well and the remote is particularly easy to use. The form factor is ideal for home theaters. I'd like to order a third, but they are no longer available, and there isn't a replacement yet. Only a standard headset audio connection is provided. I'd prefer to see HDMI or an optical connection as well. Media Center occassionally hangs and requires a restart. Sometimes you get sound with no picture again requiring a restart. Setting up to play iPod videos and other Apple media is possible, but requires some real work. The wireless keyboard was only a penny, but it is clunky. I suggest using a bluetooth mouse and keyboard. I also suggest streaming the media to the Winbook Jiv Mini from some other network storage device, such as the Infrant ReadyNAS NV+ with more storage.
