Would not install or uninstall--damaged my computer!
Pros: None, only costly problems.
Cons: Will not install, will not uninstall, damaged my computer, no support available.

Nothing worse than a problematic product for which absolutely no technical support is provided, leading to costly repairs.

This was a dangerous piece of software for me
Pros: None - couldn't even get it to install

There are times when I would have liked to be warned of bad software. In that spirit let me tell you of my experience.
Installed Media One which crashed on install. This was on a machine two weeks old on XP Pro with the latest updates. Add/remove failed so I couldn't remove Media One. Tried re-downloading Media One and installing; same failure. Tried Microsoft's restore which also failed.
Spent many hours with Microsoft to to fix the restore function, during which we manually removed the Media One. Lost all restore points as a result since they had to delete and re-register the recovery files. When pressed whether an install failure could cause the problem the comment was that the installation failure could potentially cause the restore failure.
My situation may be atypical, but my suggestion is to do a full system backup including the registry if you install Media One.
