Great sound quality with easy setup.
Pros: Great sound, plays almost every format, very cool. Sets up in minutes. Play the music from your computer or from the internet.
Cons: A little computer knowledge is helpful but not a huge problem.

Outstanding product compared to the Roku Soundbridge
Pros: I've had a Roku Soundbridge M500 for a few years. It finally went to Soundbridge Heaven and I chose to replace it with the Squeezebox Classic. What took me so long!! If you're looking to stream Rhapsody or your music collection, get a Squeezebox
Cons: The remote isn't quite intuitive and you'll need to familiarize yourself with the Users Manual before you're great at it.
BTW, I got mine on Ebay, brand new, for $225 with free shipping, so be sure and shop around.

What a fab player
Pros: The device is near flawless (a color display would be marginally cooler, but who can really argue at this pricepoint!). The ability to stream both your own library and music from online services is great! I also stream my local NPR .
Cons: I would love to be able to manage individual tracks using the included slim server software. But, its a small oversight.

Great product, purchased mine before Logitech
Pros: Great audio, and many options with Internet radio sites. I've read that Satellite radio can even be piped through the Internet to Squeezebox... not sure if that's true or not.
Cons: 1) Sometimes the music names/genres don't match iTunes, and I can't figure out why.
2) I've found it impossible to get tech support from Logitech.
3) No progress indicator for library scan
4) Can't pop a CD in my computer and just play

Excellent quality and functionality at a premium price.
Pros: Beautiful sound quality. Easy to install and use. Elegant enclosure.
Cons: A bit on the expensive side.
I'm still fighting with the Windows-based audio file-serving software (perhaps 5000+ MP3s is too much), but the ability to stream Internet radio, Rhapsody, Pandora, Live365, and just about every streaming audio feed on the 'Net makes it worth the price of admission.
It has both coax and optical digital audio output as well as Burr-Brown DACs feeding a pair of RCA audio connectors. This is a high quality piece of audio equipment. The gloss black finish perfectly matches my Pioneer Elite HDTV and Sonus-Faber Grand Piano speakers, and the florescent display can be easily read from 12+ feet away.
Only the steep price tag keeps me from giving this unit a perfect 10/10.
