Pros Easy set up and wireless! Sounds better than any home theater system I have ever purchased! Use two of these for surround with the new Playbar and it is awesome!

Cons Very pricey. If you ended up buying the sub, this system could cost as much as a Bose system. Well worth it though.

Summary Just purchased the new Sonos Playbar for my home theater and ditched my 3D Sony Playbar with wireless sub. I am new to Sonos but the Best Buy Magnolia sales associate turned me on to this system and I am hooked! I ended up buying two of these to pair with my Playbar to be used as surround speakers and what a fantastic sound! Forget the sub, this bass moves the room and I do not even have this cranked all the way up. Sure this whole system is pricey but who cares, it is easy to set up and it is wait for it...wireless! Just what I was looking for. Who wants to have wires running all over the room or worse under carpets or around the walls. Just plug in each speaker, sync with your bridge and presto, this is on your network and can play music from your iTunes library existing on your Mac or iPad or iPod or iPhone. Plus you get all internet radio and it sounds awesome! The Playbar I reviewed separately and it is just as awesome! You will love the ease of setting this up with two buttons and how nice it compliments your rooms! Plus I can disconnect one of these and carry to another room and play other music through that one speaker flawlessly! Sonos is simply better and will beat out your Dad's Bose system in a heartbeat! Wave radio what?? Doesn't even compare.

Pros Sound quality is excellent. Easy set up and operation from iPhone/iPad apps. Have 2 speakers in master bedroom to augment separate and primary home sound system.

Cons None really - except don't expect it to match high end sound system.

Summary Connect the Sonos zone bridge to router, download app for iPhone/iPad, pair speakers and you have a wonderful secondary sound system for home. Very pleased with Sonos products.

Cons Subwoofer is not needed, but would help.

Summary I am very happy with the Play:3 after a few weeks. The streaming options are very impressive, and the iPhone is a great controller. It sounds just like a B&W Zeppelin, just at half the price and size.
