CNET Editors' Take

The ZonePlayer ZP90 expands your Sonos Digital Audio System to another room.

Review:

The Sonos ZonePlayer 90 is the non-amplified base station product in Sonos's wireless hi-fi line-up. It performs identically to a Sonos Play:5, but--unlike that model's built-in speakers--the ZonePlayer 90 needs to be connected to an amplifier, AV receiver, or powered speaker system.

The ZonePlayer 90 includes analog and digital (coaxial and optical) outputs, as well as analog inputs. As with other Sonos products, it can be controlled on an iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad, or Android phone by downloading a free app.
