"Worst camcorder ever owned" on by jeff6898
Pros: good zoom, lite weight
Cons: Keep getting Can not read disc error, tried 4 brands of dvd-r Finally maxell worked but after about 10 minutes of recording can not read disc again. Exchanged it for a new one and same problem
Summary: Stay away get you one that any brand dvd will work in it. Canon's customer service can't even tell what what will work.

"Easy Great Picture Quality AND VERY WORTH BUYING" on by ralasinchains
Pros: Good quality, easy to use, comfortable, good frame rate, and small.
Cons: No attachments and minor sound issues
Summary: This excellent little camera has every thing any budding youtuber or anyone trying to preserve family memory's could need. A better frame rate then Sony's alternative HandyCam is a huge plus. The zoom on this camera is 4000x and clear enough to see the crevasses on the moon. With what I like to call almost HD this camcorder is an amazing buy! The only issues are minor including: no attachments like a boom mic or light, hearing the disk drive if you set it on a solid surface, and not being able to finalize a disk on low battery. While this isnt a professional camera its a good start for any film maker. I make youtube videos all of the time and the Dc 320 Gets the job done. Canon did some of there best work on this small sleak beauty of a DVD camcorder. I personally give this 5/5 when comparing to other DVD camcorders on the market the same can be said with all small video cameras. Compared to all semi-professional and bigger camcorders it still holds strong at a 4.5/5

"This is a great camera" on by pamelalausch
Pros: Video quality is excellent, zoom is phenomenal
Cons: Still pictures not excellent, discs don't hold much
Summary: I love this video camera. It took forever to drain the battery, the videos are great and the zoom is awesome. The drawbacks? I have no connection to my computer with it, the still photos are not excellent quality, but they are pretty good, and the mini discs hold 62 minutes at best (on average, about 30-35 minutes). Also, read the book on disc finalizing and initializing - we did not and now have two discs that can only be read in this device, not a dvd player. It's very compact and lightweight, and I love that when I turn the screen around so my daughter can see herself, the image appears in the viewfinder, so I can still see what I'm taping. On screen displays are great. I haven't explored all of the features yet, but so far this is a great camera.
