Cons: It broke after a few tapes - chronic issue known
Summary: I have used this only a few times and received the error message "Remove the cassette" no matter what tape I put in. It was handled with extra care and precaution and used indoors. Google it and you will see many, many people with the same problem. This is my second problem with a Canon DV camcorder and I am done with this brand forever.
