Pros: Being able to easily upload to computer/internet/DVD, small size, easy to use.

Cons: Although pic quality may be as good or better than similar cameras on the market, it isn't the great. However, if you are a casual user, it is more than satisfactory. Unless you go HD, or Digital Tape I'm guessing you won't see much of a diff.

Summary: I bought this camera because I wanted a camera that was easy to upload to the internet/computer/convert DVD. It does all of these quickly and easily (as easy as any digital camera). I have watched the recorded videos on my 50 inch LCD tv and they decent picture quality (probably as good or better than similar model/brand cameras). For my needs (family home video) the pic quality will be just fine. I have edited a video using Windows Movie Maker (must be converted to the proper format using the provided software, but this is a minor issue [I have Vista Home version]). I uploaded a video to facebook and didn't find it very hard. After research I felt the flash media was the best option for me (good storage capacity [5hrs built in + SD card], small size, ease of use, flash media = no moving parts or heat, which means it is less likely to break).
