"Jagged edges"
Summary: The edges of objects produce a jagged edge. This artifact is most pronounced on horizontal surfaces and the artifact can be significantly reduced if the camera is turned 45 degrees to the horizontal. I tried all different settings and programs and could not make the artifact go away. The camera also produced skip or robotic type movements with moving objects. Again, I varied all the options and could not get this problem to go away. I returned the camera and dug out my clunky old HI8 Sony.
