"Excellent small camera!"
Pros: Clean images, 16X9, good auto functions
Cons: Bottmo-loading tape
Summary: No, this litte gem does not produce the same quality recordings as my Canon GL-1. What it DOES produce is very good recordings, in 16X9, with adequaate IS for most conditions, in an unobtrusive form factor that can be taken almost anywhere. The external mic-in is a very helpful touch, and I have found the images more than acceptable in all the available-light situations I've encountered so far. This is a great small camera!
