Pros: OK pictures, compact form

Cons: Webcam quality video. .ASF files

Summary: This thing is a waste of money if it's more than $50. The videos are Windows media .ASF files NOT .mp4 or .mpeg. Video is no way any better than a $30 webcam at any res or quality. Photos are a mix. Some are good some are blurry.

Zoom IS WORTHLESS. Unviewable in video and very blurry in photos.

I got screwed out of $200 for it, don't do the same.

Pros: decent digital camera, but I already have one of those.

Cons: absolutely pathetic video in any setting. waste of time and $

Summary: OK, I picked this item up used for a song, like $50.00, and figured I couldn't go wrong, but I was wrong. Yah, the photos are super, so if that is what you are looking for, go for it. But I already have a nice digital camera. I was looking for a budget video camera for basic video, but this does not even fit that bill. I really really tried to convince myself that this video camera would work for just basic video, but frankly, I gotta face the facts, this stinks. Not only is the zoom worthless, as others have said, but even the 1X is poorly focused and very grainy. I can't use it.

Pros: The small size is nice. The price is right

Cons: Digital zoom makes video unwatchable; Shooting video fills up a 512mb card fast.

Summary: The small size and the price of this camera is what attracted me to it in the first place. However, after using the camera on vacation out West this summer, I wish I hadn't wasted my money. Still pictures were very good. Video was terrible and zooming made it unwatchable. I would not recommend this camera to anyone who's a serious photographer or videographer.

"Cheap Buy" on February 21, 2005

Pros: It takes nice pictures, and is very easy to use. It was well worth its price

Cons: Small screen, bad sound quality, no optical zoom, works ok under light differences.
