"Great For The Cost" on by sdspaz
Pros: Uses AAA batteries
Uses super cheap 2GB cards
Very compactCons: Lense cap has lost the "snap" to stay in place
Summary: Bought this camera for a trip to Europe. Used Energizer rechargeable batteries, they lasted all week. Bought it BECAUSE it uses AAA batteries. AAA batteries are available world wide. How can you charge a camera on the road in Europe?? 220 volts there, converter is just one more thing to carry.
Recorded 2 hours of video, just short of half of a 2GB card's storage. Transfered the video to DVD, not HD, but acceptable quality.
Found this camera provides very good snapshots and acceptable video. I think it's very well worth the money and has served me well.
Very happy with the purchase overall. -

"useless -- miniscule battery life" on by Rich Murray
Pros: only $ 80 at Office Depot, plus $ 20 2GB card, stimulates desire tor good 640X480 pistol style point and shoot video camera
Cons: 15-30 minutes alkaline ( $ 2.50/4) battery life, poor manual in too tiny print, hard to grasp in hand, controls too tiny for adult fingers, no mike, power , or tripod socket
Summary: No reputable store should offer this rip-off.
