"Good camera for a fair price"
Pros: Lightweight, big screen, quiet, great outdoor color, remote control
Cons: Max 10 sec recording to SD Card (with High Res; 32 secs with Low Res), no mic input, slow digital picture taking, drains battery within 40 mins
Summary: I did a fair amount of research and decided to buy this camera (got it from Dell for around $350 with dell deals and coupons with free shipping). I thought the camera would be able to store more than 10 seconds on the SD Card. My Fuji digi cam records 80 secs, and it's 3 years old now!!
Anyway, the DV tape recordings are crisp, clear, and colorful if recorded OUTDOORS. Indoors, it's nothing special.
If I had to do it all over again, I would spend more time researching and maybe spend a little more on a camera that could record more on a SD Memory Card with better quality and had a light.
