Pros: Convenient size and concept

Cons: Cumbersome software, low memory, rear view screen

Summary: We were so excited to purchase this camera. The very same week, while making a digital camera purchase saw the RCA Small Wonder which is a very similar product. Purchased the Small Wonder too.

The Flip is a cool video camera for kids. On the flip side (he he) we felt it was hard to transfer the videos even with the built in software. Also, the view screen is fixed in the rear of the camera and does not swing out like the RCA Small Wonder for self recording ease. No SD card slot, so you can't expand the memory.

Overall the Flip is a great camera...but a much better bang for your buck would come with the RCA Small Wonder. We were unable to return the Flip. Hardly use it...the RCA Small Wonder won us over hands down!
