Pros: One of the biggest overall improvements from the first version would have to be sound quality. Second, of course is the multiple options for video quality as well as HD.

Cons: 2 small cons would have to be the loss of the eye sight which was on the first version. It had its moments that would help line of sight for recording. Second, which in minor, is the use of the menu options. First time users will be confused.

Summary: Overall, this is an amazing HD camera for the price and the many options you can use it for. To be waterproof, have multiple HD selections, great sound quality, and of course light weight sets this camera above the rest. I highly recommend this.
